Is the 'f word' socially acceptable?

Hmmm... just relaxing at home on Sunday night waiting for the Singapore F1s to start... which will no doubt make me feel homesick. Was gonna write a quick blog on funny named towns... I've heard some classics over the years... Muff, Dildo and Accident come to mind LOL. While I was googling for a funny pic to post...
